1. Accepting these Terms

By using History, submitting a website, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to act for the person or organization associated with the submitted website.

2. What a payment buys

History ranks eligible websites by their cumulative total of successfully verified payments. The highest qualifying total receives the top placement. A payment adds to a website's verified total; it does not buy ownership of History, a permanent advertisement, exclusivity, or a guaranteed amount of traffic.

3. Bidding and outbidding

The amount required to compete for the top placement is shown before checkout. Checkout does not reserve the placement. Another website may take the lead before or after your payment completes, and a current leader may be outbid at any time. A website may bid again to add to its verified total.

Rankings are determined from verified payment records, including the service's published tie-breaking rules. Pending, failed, cancelled, reversed, or unverified payments do not count.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments in the currency and amount displayed at checkout. You are responsible for confirming the website, amount, currency, and contact information before paying, along with any taxes, fees, or obligations applicable to you.

5. Final payments and refunds

Payments are final and non-refundable. Being outbid, losing the top placement, receiving less traffic than expected, or changing your mind does not qualify for a refund. We may correct a duplicate charge or clear processing error. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund or other remedy that applicable law requires.

6. Websites and content

You may submit only a public website you are authorized to promote. It must not be unlawful, deceptive, malicious, abusive, infringing, or designed to compromise users or the service. We may reject or remove a website that violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, or materially misrepresents its identity. Websites containing or promoting pornography, sexually explicit or exploitative material, illegal goods or services, or other unlawful content are prohibited and will be removed. Removal for a violation does not create a right to a refund.

History may retrieve a website's public title, description, and icon for display. You grant us permission to display that public material for the service and confirm that doing so does not violate another person's rights.

7. Intellectual property

History and its original software, visual design, artwork, branding, text, and other materials are owned by Karan Handa or the applicable licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership or licence to you except for the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

Except as permitted by applicable law or with our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, republish, publicly display, mirror, frame, scrape, commercially exploit, or use automated means to extract a substantial part of the service or its original materials, including for model training or dataset creation.

Public material retrieved from submitted websites, and all third-party names, marks, content, and other materials, remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to any applicable licences.

8. Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of History, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes do not retroactively alter completed payment obligations unless required by law.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

History is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise any particular audience, conversion, revenue, reputation, or business result. You remain responsible for your website, claims, customers, and compliance with applicable law. Non-waivable consumer and statutory rights are not excluded.
